Getting Involved at Edwin Hodges

Did you know that at Edwin Hodges Ministry, over 10,000,000 pounds of Christian literature have been received from all over the country since 1994? Did you know that in 2007 alone, over 27,000,000 pieces were distributed? Did you know that literature in 112 different languages has been shipped to over 140 countries on six different continents? Did you know that you can be involved in this wonderful ministry of delivering God's Word around the world? Here's how:

 

  • Be a literature gatherer—collect and deliver new or used literature for the ministry
  • Be a prayer partner
  • Be a financial supporter
  • Join us for our periodic work days at Edwin Hodges Ministry. We meet at the ministry at 8:30 a.m. for a day of work and fellowship.  Lunch is always provided.

Getting Involved at CCC

 

The Committee on Church Cooperation (CCC) was organized in 1973. The executive board, led by President Tommy Sharp, is made up of members representing a cross section of denominations. The CCC espouses no particular denomination or teach-ing in dealing with clients. The staff simply exhibits a caring philosophy, which encompasses Christian principles, and has as its goal to help those in need find immediate assistance. The CCC's mission is "building cooperative efforts among the churches of Morgan County to provide emergency and short-term assistance to persons in need in the name of Christ." The CCC offers the following services: Emergency Food Pantry Clothing Closet Prescription Medication Program Traveler's Aid School Supplies Holiday Sponsorships Aid to Burnout Victims and New Move-Ins Home Health Assistance Infant/Child Assistance
